Easter is the best time in the year to take
inspiration and to inspire others. It is the day, which celebrates the
resurgence of Jesus in the world. It signifies that no matter how much
the wrong-doers might flourish and grow, good always presides over evil.
It makes the beings believe in the power and authority of the Supreme
Being. Thus, if you want to make your near and dear ones understand the
purpose of life and the good things around, there can be no other better
medium than inspiring poetry. On the event of Easter, when everybody
sings the glory of the Lord and is more ready to look at the brighter
side of things, inspirational poems can really help in molding opinions
and the way of life.
Easter Guest
As I, look out my window. I watch the children play. I see an old man
sitting on the curb looking all around...He, seems to be looking for
something that can't be found...I, see he looks so afraid, he starts to
get up but, he sits back down....
I, see he looks, lost and like he, hasn't seen a good meal in
days...Reaching, for half of sandwich, some child has, thrown at
him...He, begins to eat the sandwich...My, God, It's Easter Day, how can
these children be so cruel?.. When, at home they have a big Easter
dinner cooking for them and so much food.
I, watch that old man eat the sandwich he, finished it within a few
seconds. He ate, as if he was starving...My, heart went out to him...Our
Easter, dinner was just about ready...We, would be eating soon. I went
out to the curb, where the old man sat he, looked up at me with the most
beautiful, blue eyes I ever seen...
I, said excuse me Sir, I was wondering would you, like to join my family
and I, for dinner? I, told him, we have way too much food...I made so
much...With tears in his eyes he, said why thank you, dear...But, I
wouldn't bother you or your family today...It's Easter.
I told him he was no bother at all...We, had plenty of food we would
never, eat it all. I said we have plenty to share. He, said my dear, I
would be honored to join you and your family. But, I'll just take a seat
on your porch swing...I tried to make him come inside. He, said dear,
I'm a little too shy I, said I understood.
Make, yourself comfortable, on the swing...I'll hurry back with your
food...He, said don't hurry dear, take your time......When I, returned
with his plate of food...I, looked and couldn't believe my eyes...He,
wasn't sitting on the swing....He was gone..
But, in his place was the most beautiful, glowing, lilies on my swing
with a note...I, read his note with tears streaming down my face...the
note said, Happy Blessed Easter, to you my child...You, are so kind.
Thank you, dear...Love, The Lord.
Easter Space
Easter is always a time for revelation.
I wish you encouragement and inspiration.
May the emptiness of Good Friday
Be refilled by the promise that Easter morning has fulfilled.
May the joy of Easter morning be a kind light,
May the peace of Easter shine around you at night.
May this peace and joy fill the hearts of all you know,
Filling empty places wherever they may go Z
Easter Time
Easter time is here again
And bunnies everywhere,
Don't salute, a substitute,
There is no holy hare.
So colored eggs and jelly beans,
Don't mean a bunny thing, '
Cause bunnies do, what bunnies do
And have no gifts to bring.
So Easter Time's, the time to know,
A lie could not survive
And here's the proof in gospel truth;
JESUS IS ALIVE!!
